Thanks to the tax payers...and Nathan

My brother has proven to be useful for the second time in his life. (I am just kidding Nathan...it's the third time). Anyway, he was at school yesterday and somehow ended up putting his name in a drawing, held by the National Guard, for a digital camera. Why he was talking to the National Guard, I don't know, but anytime Nathan thinks he may win something or get free food, he'll sign up. And because Nathan tends to be easily distracted by glitter and free things, he may or may not be a new enlistee.

Well ,to make a long story short he got a phone call later that day telling him he had won a Canon PowerShot SD1000, a 1.0 GB memory card, and a handsome leather carrying case. And he gave it to me, because as much as he hates to admit it, he worships the ground I walk on.

Don is off the hook for now, thanks to the tax payers that support the National Guard, and Nathan.

Atari Games

Leslie and I were discussing the good ole days tonight, and we had trouble thinking of the name of an Atari game. She thought it might be Pitfall. It's the game were the little guy would swing from rope to rope. Sometimes, if you were not on top of your game, you would bite it into the bottom of the TV. Was the name of it Pitfall?

Bye-Bye Ba Ba

It's gone, just gone. I am more sad than he is about it. On Tuesday I went to CVS to buy some bottle liners and quick got a reality check. So I told him that CVS no longer sells bottle liners and we would have to get rid of his Ba Ba. In true JH fashion he said, "o-tay mom mom".
And that was it.
My boy is growing up. I will miss him as a baby.
